브레인트리 생명공학연구소 (Braintree Biotechnology Institute, BBI)는 2013년에 기후변화에 대응하여 현장에서 활용 가능한 환경솔루션을 제공하기 위해 설립됐습니다. 우리는 산림자원과 산림미생물을 활용하여 환경복원 기술 및 건강보조약품을 개발하고 있습니다. 핵심연구분야는 산업 폐기물로 오염된 토양을 건강한 산림에서 추출한 유익한 균근균을 활용하여 나무의 생육 환경을 개선해주는 토양미생물 활용 기술입니다.
브레인트리 생명공학연구소는 국내 최초의 산림미생물 제제를 개발하여 국내 및 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화하고 있으며 아울러 산림자원을 활용한 건강보조약품 개발 및 사업제휴를 확대하고 있습니다.

Humanity has made phenomenal scientific and technological advances to lead a healthier and more convenient life. Due to climate change, however, the future requires more research to overcome environmental challenges such as food production/distribution shortages, environmental pollution, and deforestation.
In response to climate change, Braintree Biotechnology Institute (BBI) was established in 2013 to provide on-site environmental solutions for global sustainability and biodiversity of forest by rigorous research and development of eco-friendly products. For the past years, we have been developing environmental restoration technologies and health supplement products using forest resources and forest microorganisms. Our core research interests are developing technologies that utilize beneficial
mycorrhizal fungi isolated from healthy forests to improve tree growth in environments where the soil is contaminated by industrial waste.
Braintree Biotechnology Research Institute has been strengthening domestic and global competitiveness by developing the first forest microbial agent in Korea, and also expanding the development of health supplements and business alliances using forest resources.
